Netflix held its first event on Tudum today, a three-hour live stream that included, well, a lot of stuff. That means over 70 series and 28 movies, which is more than anyone should have to follow. So we’ve curated the biggest announcements and best trailers here, from a fresh look to Strange things and a lot of The Wizard, to the release dates of the new seasons of King tiger and Bridgerton.
Here is everything that may have been missed.
Studio Color’s next project
Ahead of Tudum’s main event, Netflix spent time outlining its anime lineup, with the biggest reveal being the next best-known feature from Studio Colorful in 2020. A mustache away. The last feature of the study is called Drifting home, and is described as a “story about two childhood friends who enter a mysterious sea next to an entire housing complex.” It will begin airing in 2022.
A new look at Red notice
The event opened with some star power, thanks to a new trailer for the heist movie. Red notice starring Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, and Dwayne Johnson. Unsurprisingly, it features a lot of clever bangs and pranks, but it also looks like a lot of fun. The new clip mainly focuses on a three-minute fight scene between the star trio, where Gadot is victorious.
Other Stranger Things 4 puzzle
The taunts of the fourth season of Strange things it just keeps coming, with the latter showing a new venue for the beloved show called Creel House, along with Dustin doing his best Sherlock Holmes impression. Stranger Things 4 begins airing sometime in 2022.
The first look at Jeen-yuhs, a doctor about Kanye West
Jeen-yuhs (pronounced genius) is an upcoming documentary that follows Kanye West’s career over a span of 20 years. “Filmed for two decades,” says the official description, “Jeen-yuhs it is an intimate and revealing portrait of Kanye’s experience, showing both his formative days trying to break through and his current life as a global brand and artist. ” The first clip shows West and Mos Def performing “Two Words” from their seminal album. College dropout. It is scheduled to arrive on Netflix in 2022.
Sex education gets a fourth season
Season 3 of the hilarious and heartfelt Sex education just released on Netflix. But if you’ve already done it all, there’s good news: The streamer confirmed that the show will be making a comeback for season 4.
A mockery of Bridgertonsecond season
Bridgerton is arguably Netflix’s biggest hit to date, and the streamer finally showed a first look at its impending second season, which will include the addition of Sex educationSimone Ashley to the cast. It’s a short clip, and it will be a bit of time before you can see the full content, as season 2 will begin airing next year.
Our first look at The Sandman
It’s been a long time but we finally tried The Sandman, a highly anticipated adaptation of the comic written by Neil Gaiman. It’s a brief tease, but it seems like it channels the spirit of the comics pretty well. The series does not yet have a release date attached.
Arcane gets a new trailer and a release date
Arcane is the first animated series based on League of Legends, and we not only got a new trailer for the show, but also a date: it will debut on Netflix on November 6.
A terrifying trailer for Hellbound
One of the most pleasant surprises of the event was a trailer for the Korean horror series. Hellbound, which shows some very fond monsters wreaking havoc on a city street. It is scheduled to arrive on November 19.
King tiger he’s coming back and we have an appointment
Earlier this week, Netflix confirmed that the obsession with the pandemic King tiger I would go back for a second season. Now we know exactly when: November 17.
The opening title sequence for Cowboy bebop
It’s not a trailer, but we do have the opening title sequence of the long-awaited live-action version. Cowboy bebop, which will hit Netflix in November.
A trailer for Army of the deadprequel to
The Zack Snyder Prequel Army of the dead It’s not really about zombies, but rather follows the origin story of the safe thief Dieter. It will hit Netflix on October 29.
First look at the conspiracy theory cartoon. Internal work
This show, of the old Gravity Falls writer Shion Takeuchi describes itself as an “adult animated comedy series about Deep State employees who are tasked with keeping conspiracy theories under wraps.” It opens on October 22.
