Guasave, Sinaloa.- Yesterday a meeting was held between the mayor-elect Guasave and around 30 women who are leaders in areas such as education, commerce, health, agriculture and the home, all in order to contribute ideas to enrich their actions of government.
The president of Canaco in Guasave commented that it was an event where the Citizen Council with a Gender Perspective was formed, this in order to support the women of the municipality.
Leonor Espinoza stated that the meeting with MartÃn Ahumada Quintero was with the objective of listening to the different proposals that the professional women of Guasave have so that the municipality can have improvements for this gender, for which the aforementioned Citizen Council was formed, all with the purpose of helping in the actions that the next municipal government will carry out from the female perspective.
He highlighted that around 30 professional women were present at the meeting, as was the case of the director of Health Jurisdiction No. 2; the former director of the UAdeO; the director of the IMSS; a researcher from Ciidir; the director of Cefereso, as well as women from the social sector.
The ladies put different proposals on the table, such as having a better health system; In the area of ​​education, it was proposed to install a walker and security in the Technological Institute of Guasave, in addition to strengthening educational programs in all senses, from dependencies such as Ecology, Municipal Institute for Women, youth and education.
In the case of public services, improvements were requested, as there are still many sectors that need these services.
“This was done to improve the municipality in different issues, it is to support and help with sensitivity and contribution, that as women we can see the problems by joining the actions as such,” she highlighted.
He stressed that a call will soon be launched so that more women can join this new citizen council, so that their proposals and ideas are heard with the aim of having a more futuristic municipality.

The elected mayor was attentive to the proposals made by the women, but his surprise was that they were going to address issues such as gender violence, but it was the opposite. “I take the word of forming a team and that the Council is formed with a gender perspective,” said Ahumada Quintero.
